The language of dance —a community class for adults!

Dance is for everybody! This year, Genesee Dance is partnering with artists from across the region for a series of low cost community classes.

March class: the Elements of Dance with Ruben Ornelas

Ruben T. Ornelas

comes to Genesee Dance Theatre as part of the Creative Rebuilds New York grant initiative

In his movement class, Ruben says, “ We will follow a simple warmup to release, stretch, and prepare the body for moving. In the center and traveling across the floor, we will explore the elements of dance including movement, paths and levels, using “Language of Dance” concepts.”

This adult class is suitable for all levels of ability— no prior dance experience required. It provides a moderate level of exercise, engaging the mind and body. Come enjoy an affordable, fun way to move and learn something new!

Class times and dates:

  • Saturdays, March 4th - 25th

  • 12 p.m. - 1 p.m.

  • $10 per class - proceeds will be reinvested in community programs!
